Last week the Florida Keys Contractors Association (FKCA) Board of Directors slipped a $2500 check to Fair Insurance Rates in Monroe (FIRM) to aid in their fight against rising insurance costs.

“FIRM is one of our partners in the building industry and the organization feels this is a good way to help Florida Keys homeowner,” said Chris Gratton.

“These funds will be used to fund the administrative hearing in Tallahassee to contest the latest Citizens rate filing,” said FIRM President Mel Montagne.
